Out of the mouths of Babes

Today at karate Greyson had to go to the bathroom...so he went. Fabulous.
Then two seconds later he has to go again...

I say, "Greyson you just went to the bathroom."
Greyson says, "I have to listen to my body."

Yes. Yes, you do.

Crazy how you say something months ago (at the beginning of the potty training adventure) and now that it has clicked and has been clicking for a while, you hear your own words out of the mouth of your child. I guess he was listening :)

It's Poppy

Today Greyson drew a picture of his Poppy...or as Clayton called it "Mr. Potatohead with a Hitler stash." I think it's great!

Jones'in for a Makeover

It's so long and I'm bored.

Having some fun.

My choice...

Now I just have to wait until I get back to Michigan...unless I can find a salon down here who works with Locks for Love.

Kids say the darndest things.

Last week we went to the Jacksonville Mall. As we were driving Greyson says from the backseat, "Hey, an owl store." Clayton and I looked, confused at first, until we saw it...Hooters!

Hehehehehe

Playing catch-up

Been putting neosporin on it.
Hopefully it won't scar.

But they are slowly getting better.

I felt so bad.
:(

Greyson got attacked by fireants.

Greyson drew a sailboat.

Greyson wasn't feeling well.
He fell asleep while eating some yogurt.
My poor baby!

Almost Famous?

A Family Road Trip

This past weekend (plus some) we went to New England for Clayton's brother's wedding. Neither of us had ever been to New England (unless Connecticut counts, does it?) and it was nice to do it as a family. It was very beautiful! And the weather...YIPPEE!!! We were able to drive with the windows down and enjoy the fresh air, and once we got to the hotel we were able to stand outside and not drip with sweat! It was GREAT! We spent the mornings cuddling as a family and the afternoon either in the pool or trapesing through Plymouth.
Eric and Sarah's wedding was simple and scenic. How fabulous to get married on the beach with mother nature as your backdrop! The reception was small but nice. Just food, conversation/toasting, and cake. The food was scrumptious! Mmmm! The grilled shrimp and strawberry salad, yum!
We've decided that we will visit New England again. There are a couple things we'd like to do... visit Saelem, and go Whale watching.
The only thing I would change if I could...the drive.
It was very exhausting! Traffic was a killer.

The Rehersal Dinner

Greyson fell asleep before dinner was served.
Good thing he didn't order anything.

Patiently waiting.
