Family Vacation: Day 1

March 29th, 2011.

Our first stop on our D.C. vacation was the National Marine Corps Museum in Triangle, VA. It was a nice time. Some very emotional moments looking at the different exhibits. We also caught up with Joe Cruz (who we hadn't seen in 3 years!!!) and had a really nice evening out. It was a great start to our family vacation.

This is how we do it.

Open a bottle of wine, that is.

No corkscrew?

Just use a screw, screwdriver and a pair of pliers.

Tada!

Ingenuity.

Yum!

You're How Old?

4 years old! Can you believe it? Greyson is 4 years old! Where did the time go? Soon he'll be in school. (Tear) And then he'll be a teenager, followed by a high school graduate, then he'll be off to college, he'll get a girlfriend, then get married....okay, that's enough. Let's just do this one year at a time. Greyson had a great party. He was so happy to have a bounce house, and to have his friends over, and to open presents. Near the end of the party he asked if all his friends were gone yet so he could play with all his new toys. That's normal, right? ;) A big thank you to everyone who attended and/or sent a gift. He was a very happy boy.
He's in heaven.

Jumpin' with Cassie.

He asked for a police car jump house and that's what mama got.
