3 year pics!

Greyson had his 3 year pics taken last weekend...here's a sneak peek. I should have your copies in the mail sometime this week (to save stamps I'll be sending Jen, Jess and Whit's copies (4 each) to mom's house). Even though his smile is fake, Greyson is still adorable. :) Love him!!!

Cole Bros. Circus 4.15.2010

The circus was in town this week so we decided that it would be a great family outting...it was! It was also very expensive...but we all had fun so it was worth it. Unfortunately I didn't charge the camera battery before we left so there are not as many pictures as I would like...I wish you could have seen the clowns and their taxi (that was Greyson's favorite part, besides the elephants). There were also some crazy strong ladies in the circus...trapeze artists, and acrobats, and a lady who could balance on one finger (that same lady could also stand on her head and juggle). The tigers and elephants were my favorite part...the tigers were so beautiful and I just wanted to pet them...but I also felt sorry for them because they were poked and whipped at (I don't think the whip ever touched them...it was more for the sound to scare them) in order for them to do the tricks. :(
It was a late night. Greyson wasn't in bed until 10:30, but he did sleep in this morning...he'll probably still need a nap this afternoon to prepare for karate tonight. I'm glad we went to the circus...the next time I think Greyson needs to be older so that he can remember it and get a little more excited. :)

We're going to ride an elephant.

There was no one to take our picture so...
here's what you would see if there were someone.
Family shot ontop the elephant

Greyson didn't cry until Clayton handed him to the worker
so Clayton could get off the elephant.

If was a very wobbly ride.

Camels, ponies, llamas, and zebras

White Tigers.
Beautiful!

Tigers.

There's a Liger in there somewhere.

Elephants doing tricks.

Huge.

Taking a Break.

Crazy daredevil dirtbiker rider.

Then there were two riders.

And then three riders.
I was on the edge of my seat!

The grand finale.

Little Dragons

This is Greyson's thrid week (ie. third Friday) of karate. So far they've worked on teamwork, balance and control. He seems to enjoy it and is doing very well for a three-year-old, though I have no one to compare him to. There are a few things we need to work on so that he can do better in class. First, his focus. He is easily distracted and a follower. If the kids next to him aren't doing what they are suppose to, well he's right there with them. Also he really isn't the best at paying attention to the teachers...he's always looking around or just sitting there kinda in a trance...it's not hard to believe since he is only three, but it's still something we will be working on. We also need to work on his punching and kicking...or should I say, his form. This will all come in time, and right now it should be all about fun! I'll keep you posted on his progress.

Warm-up: Squats

Seiretsu: Line up!

Seiza: Kneel down

They were ordering him a triple zero.
It hasn't come in and Sempai Bonner didn't want Greyson to feel left out.

It's really huge on him!
It's roled like 20x.
